Charlie Gilbert

DIRECTOR OF CONSTRUCTION

Charlie Gilbert was born in the UK and starting out in the construction industry straight from completing his Construction management & Surveying Degrees at University. Championing both cost management and project management roles, Charlie has amassed a range of experience from the General Contractor, Owners Representative and Developer sides of the industry. He is responsible for delivering in excess of  $3.5 BN of construction projects. Having spent the majority of his construction career focusing on both Ground Up and Interior Fit Out projects through the high-end hospitality (hotels, food & beverage, nightlife, etc), retail, commercial, residential, educational and pharmaceutical industries, Charlie has the experience and wisdom to understand the uniqueness of each project, the individuality of each client and the requirement for focused coordination and concentration from the outset.

Quietly mastering the essential management skills that has propelled his career as a forward-thinking director, Charlie has made use of his skills over the years to also branch out further into Digital Marketing and e-commerce, but his true love and focus is very much real estate development and construction. Charlie has lead businesses and projects through the UK, Europe, North America and the Caribbean. It’s this vast experience that enables Charlie to continuously adapt, evolve, work through problems and deliver the best solutions specific to each individual client and project. Being able to consistently adapt the approach between high level, for overall coordination, risk mitigation and final success, to the individual details and team coordination has been a significant reason to not only his individual success, but the many projects he has been a part of.

Rarely do you find individuals who have taken the time to not only understand each discipline (development, construction, cost management and project management, etc), to then have one who constantly delivers in each, but also improves in each area with every project. Taking this knowledge and understanding allows him to effectively lead his teams and also guide the full project teams.
